Cute Baby Tapir Confuses Llamas Video | Perplexing New Addition to Pen
I’m not quite sure the phrase will catch on, but it’s adorable watching the situation unfold. The llamas step up one by one to sniff and inspect the new arrival. They’re clearly not sure what to [...]
Julia Is Back! 'Veep' First Look
Julia Louis-Dreyfus is the vice president ... on TV. The "Seinfeld" and "New Adventures of Old Christine" veteran is returning to series TV in "Veep," a new comedy about the vice president of the United States.
In "Veep," Louis-Dreyfus plays former Senator Selina Meyer, the new vice president of the United States. Her character quickly learns the job isn't exactly what she thought it would be.
The show also stars Sufe Bradshaw ("Overnight"), Anna Chlumsky ("My Girl"), Tony Hale ("Arrested Development"), Reid Scott ("My Boys"), Tim Simons ("Days Together") and Matt Walsh ("Outsourced").
"In The Loop" co-writer Armando Iannucci created "Veep."
"It is a true delight to work with HBO and Armando Iannucci," Louis-Dreyfus said in a statement. "I take the role of vice president very seriously, and although everyone says this is a comedy, I don't think there is anything funny at all about me being a heartbeat away from the presidency."
"Veep" premieres Sun., April 22 at 10 p.m. on HBO.

TCA: ?Cougar Town? Takes the Fun to the Fans
On Tuesday, ABC is hosting a comedy showrunner’s panel for reporters attending the Television Critics Association Winter Press Tour. Conspicuously missing from the list of names on that panel is Bill Lawrence, creator and executive producer of “Cougar Town.” Makes sense, considering that his show also is missing from the midseason line-up. Paul Lee, president of ABC Entertainment Group, still has not assigned a premiere date to the third season premiere beyond saying it would likely return in March. (He told reporters that he expects to announce a specific date within the next few weeks.)
Meanwhile, Lee did announce dates for the midseason comedy “Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23” (9:30 Wednesday, April 11) and the new Shonda Rhimes…
