Soleil Moon Frye Gives Women Inspiration with New Book, Blog on 'Today' (VIDEO)

Soleil Moon Frye was famous at age seven for playing the proverbial precocious kid on 'Punky Brewster.' Now 35, she's married with kids of her own, has her own clothing line at Target, and is also a parenting and social media guru. Her memoir, 'Happy Chaos,' covers her life from child star to mom. Frye spoke with Ann Curry Tuesday on 'Today' (weekdays, 7AM on NBC) and tried to give people, especially mothers, a bit of inspiration.

The name of the book comes from Frye's attitude toward her household. "I don't know about you and your house, but it's insanity, you know what I mean?" she said. "Like, it's crazy at all hours, and I think we need to give ourselves a little freedom and cut ourselves a little slack and just do the best we can do."
