In Touch Exclusive: Kardashians ? Destroyed By Greed

Kim Kardashian?s quickie divorce filing has shined a bright light on an extravagant lifestyle in which greed trumps genuine emotions ? especially in the case of Kim. ?Everything she does is a facade, and that is also true of the wedding,? Jo Piazza, author of Celebrity Inc.: How Famous People Make Money, tells In Touch. ?It sort of pulled the curtain back, and now many liken it to a celebutante Ponzi scheme? scandal ? although Kim insists that her wedding was "real." After squeezing big bucks out of the E! network, three $20,000 gowns from designer Vera Wang, a $2.5 million deal for wedding photos and a $6,000 cake from Hansen?s, Kim?s plan to donate the wedding gifts to charity sounds more like a cheesy tax write-off than anything else.

And according to one cosmetics professional, the reality star demanded a whopping $60,000 just to use their lip gloss on her show. ?We couldn?t believe it,? the cosmetics pro says. But the truth is, it?s very believable of Kim, 31, who another close source claims ?won?t set foot in a Vegas club for less than $50,000? ? with some promoters paying up to $100,000 for an appearance ? and she rakes in a shocking $10,000 per tweet. ?Encouraged by her mom, Kris, Kim has become a fame-addicted, money-hungry monster,? says the insider. ?She has lost touch with reality.? Once a fun-loving socialite who enjoyed spending time with friends, Kim now won?t go to a party unless she?s paid for it. ?She will only wear what she?s being paid to wear,? Piazza notes. ?She has incorporated getting paid into every aspect of her life.?
