The T.O. Show Heads To Miami For Season 3

This just in: The T.O. Show has been picked up for a third season that’s set to air this summer. The plan is to pick right up where last season left off, with Terrell no longer with Kari, Kita no longer with Joe and Monique begrudgingly returning to work for T.O., after quitting last season.
Production is set to start next month, and we spoke to co-creators, executive producers and T.O. Show stars Kita Williams and Monique Jackson regarding what to expect from the coming season. Kita says the show will be “louder” and more challenging, given its new setting and Monique’s attitude regarding returning to work for Terrell (Monique describes this attitude as “Real World Tami meets Basketball Wives Tami”). That said, the through line remains all about unity. “We really are Three’s Company, just with a nice tan, if you will,” explains Kita. “We play together, we fight together, but we intend on staying together through this life. We are the Kardashians in terms of life-structure. We will curse him out, up and down, but at the end of the day, he knows we have his back. There are not many women in the industry that have someone on his level.”
And then there was this prize of an exchange regarding the state of Kita’s and Terrell’s love lives and what they plan on doing about it this season:
Kita: I’m excited for Season 3 because we are going to have new issues to deal with, and that’s the road we want to pave for VH1: not a lot of sensationalism, but a lot of reality that just happens to be sensation already. And he’s a man-whore. This season, we’re going to try to tame the whore in the man.
Monique: We’re also trying to make Kita a little bit more whore-like.
Kita: I’m not a whore!
Monique: She’s not a whore. She’s Clair Huxtable. We’re going to try this season to bring her out of the box a little bit. That’s one of the reasons I’m going to enjoy Miami: we’re going to take her to the edge and I’m going to live vicariously through her. I’d say if I had to compare it to anything, expect some Jersey Shore/Atlanta Housewives/Basketball Wives-level action. We’re getting down, dirty and raunchy. There’ll be strip clubs, there’ll be dance clubs, there’ll be dancing on top of tables in South Beach. There will be beach bodies and plenty of oil.
Clearly, they’re ready to bring it. More details regarding the upcoming season are in the show-announcement press release below…

The T.O. Show returns for a third season and Terrell Owens’ reality show is about to get more real than ever. Terrell is once again a player without a team and a man without a woman. Everyone seems to think that Terrell?s football career is over, but in his own mind he knows that he?s got at least one more great season in him. A year, however, is not a lot of time and faced with the uncertainty of life without football, Terrell realizes that he needs to get his entrepreneurial game on. The T.O. Show Season 3 premiere is scheduled for the summer of 2011.
When we last saw Terrell at the end of season two he was down on one knee proposing to his long suffering girlfriend, Kari. In the middle of their lunch meeting, his publicist and business partner Monique quit, leaving Kita to pick up the pieces. Since then, he and Kari have parted ways ? to no one?s surprise — and Monique has reluctantly come back to work for Terrell ? to everyone?s surprise.
Season 3 is all about perspective, fun and a change of scenery. Terrell has decided that he wants to live in Miami this off-season and tells the girls that he needs them to relocate to be there with him. Once again, Mo and Terrell are at odds. She has her husband Victor and three boys to consider. Her decision could be the final blow to their friendship and working relationship. Meanwhile, Kita is still picking up the pieces to her broken heart after finding out that her boyfriend Joe was still legally married. She needs to get away and Miami is the perfect place for her to get a fresh start and she can help Terrell get his life together.
Through it all, Terrell commits himself to the future, working on several business opportunities including taking his own barbershop, T.O. Cutz, to the next level. He also capitalizes on one of his most valuable assets ? his body ? and takes a financial risk to launch a brand of fitness products and a personal training business catered to women, of course.
Meanwhile, Terrell and Kita hit the South Beach scene. Let the womanizing commence! Terrell, has a revolving door of honey?s rolling through the house he shares with Kita. But, how long will she tolerate it? And how long will it take before Monique caves in and shows up on Terrell?s doorstep? And, when she finally does, will it be three?s company or three?s a crowd?
One thing is for sure, if Terrell hopes to get his life together before it implodes he?s going to need all the help he can get.
