Separating themselves from the pack, Mark Ballas and Chelsea Kane wowed the "Dancing with the Stars" audience with a near-perfect rendition of the waltz on Monday night (May 9).
The 22-year-old singer/actress and her professional dancing partner didn't miss a beat as they garnered a score of 29 while being the first pair to land two 10's this season.
Following the dancefloor effort, Ballas said, "I want Chelsea to shine. I want to be the frame and she's the art."
Meanwhile, the judges comments on Chelsea and Mark's delivery were as follows:
Len Goodman: "I think occasionally you put too much emphasis on the story and not enough on the dance, so the story becomes a big deal. It becomes a bit theatrical. It was very musical, it had a lovely lyrical feel to it."
Bruno Tonioli: "You finally found the perfect setting to let Chelsea shine like a precious jewel. That was dancing of the highest quality. The contemporary touches were exquisite, yet it was a timeless waltz."
Carrie Ann Inaba: "Tonight something very different happened. You brought out a whole new mature, sophisticated, you look like you added dimension to your dancing. You earned perfection tonight."
