A few weeks ago your humble IMDb editors were guffawing as this writer recalled some of the campier moments in Jennifer Love Hewitt’s unintentionally hilarious, highly quotable TV movie “The Client List.”� In Lifetime’s modern classic, Hewitt plays a masseuse whose family falls on hard times. Her solution? Jump into the world’s oldest profession, operating out of a fake day spa.
One of my co-workers wondered whether it would ever be made into a series. Yours truly brayed between peals of laughter, “What? They couldn’t. They wouldn’t!”
But they could. And they did.
On Wednesday, Deadline.com reported that Lifetime ordered 10 episodes of a series based on “The Client List,” executive produced by Hewitt under her Fedora Films shingle.…
