Jay Leno was an early supporter of Chelsea Handler's career, and now that she's got two TV shows, an NBC sitcom pilot in the works, a new book and a new stand-up tour, she's not forgetting her friends. Handler was on Thursday's 'Tonight Show' (weeknights, 11:35PM on NBC) to help Leno celebrate his birthday, the third birthday in a row, Handler noted, that they had been together."I was thinking about giving you something for your birthday, like a birthday kiss," said Handler. "And then I decided, forget it." She wound up giving Leno a birthday kiss anyway, a quick peck on the lips. Leno then pretended to fan himself from the heat of it.
Handler thought it was about time, considering how long the pair have known each other. "If we're not going to have sex, we might as well kiss," she joked. Leno was glad they waited. It was apparently worth the wait for Handler, too.
