Back once again in their green-screened glory, are John Polly and Jon Mallow of Logo’s NewNowNext blog. This episode of Drag Ya Later takes on episode 3 of RuPaul’s Drag Race 3 and the top 5 tips to getting the best drag body ever its Top 5 moments according to John and Jon. In addition to exploring India’s complex family life (her brother is her drag stepfather?!?) and Mimi’s terrible decision to use her competitor as a prop, John and Jon spend a lot of time discussing the awesome La Toya Jackson (she’s set our blog abuzz!) and Mallow says the single funniest line in the history of Drag Ya Later: “Delta Work looks more like Delta Burke than La Toya Jackson looks like La Toya Jackson.” Just like La Toya herself, John and Jon are multi-faceted yet complex, and this seriously is their best episode yet.
Also of interest via NewNowNext is Mimi Imfurst’s post-show interview, in which the fallen queen proclaims: “I?d rather be nine people?s favorite thing than a 100 people?s 9th favorite thing.” Try wrapping your head around that. It’s a riddle, right? Maybe it’s a Zen thing, like how many babies can fit in a tire?
