TIMBER! Chris Bosh Impersonator Pushes Christmas Tree Onto Shaq
Shaq has completed his first week as an analyst on "Inside The NBA" on TNT and we can't wait for more.
The acclaimed NBA studio show, which features two of the biggest personalities in all of sports in Charles Barkley and Shaquille O'Neal, has met all of our expectations thus far. In fact, it may have surpassed them with this stunt.
Near the conclusion of last night's broadcast, host Ernie Johnson asked O'Neal -- who was dressed like a wizard for some reason -- if he would like to take the final shot of 2011 on the in-studio basket. O'Neal agreed. As he set himself to shoot, though, a large Christmas tree came crashing down on top of him, sending the giant to the ground. At first, this appeared to be a set malfunction, but a camera panned over to reveal that a man in a Chris Bosh mask pushed the tree onto O'Neal.
Shaq has been critical of Bosh in recent years, calling him "The RuPaul of big men" in 2009. Over the summer, he referred to the Heat as the Big 2, purposely omitting Bosh as a star player on the team.
As they say, revenge is a dish best served cold.. and with tinsel.

2011 Earnings: Media Stocks Beat The Dow
YEARENDER: Wall Streeters�throughout 2011 became starry eyed when they talked about tech stocks. But they�still had a soft spot in their hearts for traditional media companies all year long.�Five of the seven companies in the Big Media group beat the Dow Jones Industrial Average’s 6.1% increase (through December 29th) — four of them by a lot. And they weren’t outliers: The Standard & Poor’s broadcasting index was +15.2% while the S&P movies and entertainment index was +10.2%. Many of the stocks were bolstered by the industry-wide improvement in ad sales. In addition, there was a general sense of relief — perhaps a pipe dream — that�digital companies don’t yet pose a clear and present danger to the way traditional movie and TV companies do business.�We’ll see how long that lasts. 
Here’s how each of�the Big Media companies fared in 2011, in order of how well the stock performed. Next to the company name�is the percentage increase or decrease in the stock price this year as well as the price-earnings ratio (the stock price divided by the expected earnings per share) which is a rough measure to compare how cheap or expensive the stock is compared to its industry peers.

Katy Perry and Russell Brand: Having Problems, Spending Time Apart
This does not sound good.
As we know, the rumor mill has been swirling in recent months with speculation that things aren't going well between Katy Perry and Russell Brand.
Looks like it may not be just rumors.
A source confirms to E! that Katy and Russell have been "having problems" and that they've been spending "a lot of time apart," including Christmas.
The "Teenage Dream" singer was spotted swimming in Hawaii over the holiday with her friends, while Russell was reportedly in England for the weekend.
Perry and Brand wed in India in October of last year.
A source adds that things began getting more and more tense between the two in early December and that Katy Perry has been "a mess" about it at times.
The couple shrugged off the divorce rumors at the time, but clearly there's trouble in paradise. Can they work it out? We can only hope for their sake.
As big fans of both, we can only wish them the best.

We?re less than two months away from the 84th Academy Awards, and today the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences released the show?s official promotional poster.
The new artwork contains the tagline ?Life. Camera. Action.? along with ?Celebrate the Movies In All Of Us.?
In addition to the iconic Oscar trophy, the poster also features memorable images from eight legendary films- ?Gone with the Wind,? ?Casablanca,? ?Giant,? ?The Sound of Music,? ?The Godfather,? ?Driving Miss Daisy,? ?Forrest Gump,? and ?Gladiator.?

So long, ?Extreme Makeover: Home Edition?
It appears that ABC is no longer in the home improvement-as-life improvement business.
On Thursday the network announced that “Extreme� Makeover: Home Edition,” hosted by kind, studly carpenter Ty Pennington, would be ending in January 2012.� The series will have aired 200 episodes and constructed more than 200 homes. Kardashian's Show Off Christmas Tree
It looks like it's going to be a very merry Christmas for the Kardashian gang. Kendall Jenner took to Twitter to share a photo of the family's gargantuan christmas tree -- the green stunner looks to be at least 20 feet tall.
"About to start decorating our Christmas tree! :D," Jenner tweeted along with the photo.
But with the family's crazy busy holiday schedule, we don't know when they'll find the time to decorate such a big tree. The whole crew is headed to Las Vegas Thursday to promote their new store, Kardashian Khaos. But don't fret, we have a feeling that reality TV's first family can wrangle a few of Santa's helpers to get the tree in tip top shape.

Mariah Carey Opens Up About Monroe & Moroccan
She's all set to spoil her little bundles of joy on their very first Christmas, and Mariah Carey gives the world an update on twins Monroe and Moroccan during a soon-to-be-aired Fuse TV special.
The 41-year-old singer - who was spotted out with husband Nick Cannon in Aspen on Friday evening (December 23) - is featured in a new interview titled "Mariah Carey: On The Record with Fuse," with the program making its premiere this Sunday (December 25) at 8 p.m. ET.
Talking about the relatable nature of her babies at such a young age, Mimi said, "It's so funny ... there's a picture of the two of us together and we look identical and we have the identical smile. 'Extreme Couponing' Masters Face-Off
Some of TLC's most ferocious savers from "Extreme Couponing" will be put to the test in "Extreme Couponing All-Stars," a new reality competition series debuting Tues., Dec. 27 at 10 p.m. EST.
In the new seven-part series, 12 "Extreme Couponing" veterans go head-to-head. Each episode will feature two couponers as they race around a store trying to get $500 worth of items in 30 minutes. The catch? Nothing can be full price. The couponers will donate their entire haul to a local food bank and the winner will be determined by whoever has the highest percentage of savings.

Katherine Heigl On Feuds & Her Endangered Career
Just give Katherine Heigl a chance. She promises you'll like her.
The Emmy-winning actress and public vitriol dartboard features on the cover of this month's Elle Magazine, and in her interview, tries to clear up some of the negative feelings that seem to jump to mind when her name is mentioned. Gone are the speechwriters to help write answers for interviews, explanations, false sentiment in magazine profiles and all the other preparations (which culminated in this EW cover story) that caused her "months and months of self-hatred."
"I think it's a female thing," she tells the magazine. "I'm just that asshole who really wants everyone to like me, and it's a ridiculous goal and it's an impossible goal. But I think if I just keep pushing forward and showing myself through and through, they will see me again for what I really am and not what has been sort of spun about me."
That being said, Heigl admits that "I look at some of what I had to say, and I'm like, Oh my God, I would tell myself to shut up, too."
The things she had to say, in fact, were largely limited to a few public pronouncements that were critical of those writing her scripts. In 2009, she told Vanity Fair that she had a problem with the way her character, a sensitive and sometimes shrill entertainment reporter who gets pregnant with Seth Rogen's child, was portrayed.
It was, "a little sexist," she said. "It paints the women as shrews, as humorless and uptight, and it paints the men as lovable, goofy, fun-loving guys. It exaggerated the characters, and I had a hard time with it, on some days. I'm playing such a bitch; why is she being such a killjoy? Why is this how you're portraying women? Ninety-eight percent of the time it was an amazing experience, but it was hard for me to love the movie."
Rogen was upset at the time, but recently told Shortlist.com that he had let it go.
"I think that at the time I was offended about it, but since then... I mean, you do so much press that, odds are, you're going to say something f*cking stupid every once in a while," he said. "Of the million things I say every day, 400 of them are stupid as hell [laughs]. And any one of them might wind up in a newspaper or a magazine at any given time. So at this point I'm much more forgiving of that kind of thing."
Heigl also received criticism for her perceived slam at her show "Grey's Anatomy," when she said that she did not submit for an Emmy because she didn't think any of her character's episodes were worthy of the award -- a year after she had won it.
By late 2010, Heigl was defending what she had said.
"I've been told I'm too forthright with opinions," Heigl told the New York Times. "Well do they want a fierce woman or milquetoast? Should I be me, or should I pretend to be something I think people want? Pretending seems pretty ridiculous to me... I didn't think that what I was was so bad that I needed to hide it."
With a new movie coming out, Heigl's hoping that she can win over audiences once again -- or she's in big trouble. She'll feature as a big screen adaptation of Janet Evanovich's serial novel character Stephanie Plum, a caustic New Jersey girl.
"I tend to sensationalize. I overdramatize. And I think everything is at stake -- my life, my career, my family, everything is at stake if this movie doesn't do well."

Eden Wood Lands Own Show On Logo
The six-year-old girl who had the pageant world petrified is moving on up... to Logo, according to Wetpaint Entertainment. Eden Wood, a former "Toddlers & Tiaras" star, has signed a deal for a reality show on the gay and lesbian network, Wetpaint exclusively learned. Logo, however, declined to comment on a show possibly in development.
"The show will document Eden and her mother’s move from their Arkansas hometown to the Big Apple," sources told Wetpaint. "So far, the four main characters are Eden, her mom, her manager, and her agent."
Eden became a national star after initially being featured on "Toddlers & Tiaras" in 2009 and has made multiple appearances since. She's also been featured on "Nightline," "The View," "Good Morning America," "The Talk," and other shows to discuss being the face of the controversial child beauty pageant world.
Since then, Eden has retired from the pageant business, released a pop album, created a doll in her image, and published a biographical picture book called "Eden Wood: From Cradle to Crown."
It’s hard to imagine the blonde-haired, blue-eyed TLC reality star appearing on Logo before "RuPaul's Drag Race," but Eden's currently untitled series is set to start shooting in the beginning of 2012. But considering another "Toddlers & Tiaras" mom recently told America that she gets her inspiration from drag and RuPaul, perhaps it's not too far off.

Selena Gomez has cancelled two scheduled concerts in the US after her mother suffered a miscarriage.
A rep for the 19-year-old singer confirmed that the shows would not be going ahead because of a ?family emergency? and she later revealed that Selena?s pregnant mother had lost her unborn child.
Just last month Selena had taken to Twitter to express her excitement at the news her mother was pregnant.
She wrote, ?Momma and Brian are finally letting me share the news. My mommy?s carrying my baby brother or sister :).?
She later added, ?I?m the happiest girl in the world.?
Selena was told the sad news on Friday and headed straight home. Sad times.

NBC’s Thursday sitcoms get a lot of (mostly digital) ink from critics and fans, in spite of being crushed in the ratings every week.
Yes, we know “Must-See Thursdays” is a long-dead idea. Nowadays there’s a lot of compelling competition, what with CBS’s potent line-up kicking off with a full hour of “The Big Bang Theory” tonight at 8. ABC, meanwhile, has the “Charlie’s Angels” reboot premiering at the same time. But if you’re planning to watch that instead of “Community” and “Parks & Recreation,” well… please keep that to yourself.
Then again we understand why many would choose cheap jigglevision over what’s on NBC in the 8 o’clock hour.� For many years, NBC betrayed viewers with terrible Zucker-fied choices…
