The NFL regular season is just a couple of weeks away, and Terrell Owens is still sitting on the sidelines, rehabbing and hoping a team will pick him up. Before anyone takes a chance on him, he needs to show his left leg is completely healed after an ACL tear. Owens gave us a glimpse into that rehab process on 'The T.O. Show' (Mondays, 10PM on VH1)."I know that if I don't get my knee right, I'll probably never ever play football again," he said. Mark Hamill made a career for himself playing Luke Skywalker in the 'Star Wars' franchise, but he's since made his career doing just about everything else, including playing quite a few anti-Skywalker bad guys ("I love Luke, don't get me wrong," he said with a laugh).When the 'Chuck' cast announced at Comic-Con that Hamill was the latest awesome guest star popping by the show to play villain for their final season (premieres Fri., Oct. 21, 8PM ET on NBC), the crowds geeked out as their universes collided.
But we knew very little about the bad guy he's playing ... until now. I caught up with Hamill to hear all about his James Bond-style cameo (including some details he probably shouldn't have mentioned -- mild spoilers ahead!) and whether or not he'll be returning for more than just "one scene."
He also talked about his voice work as The Joker, first in animation and now in hit video games Arkham Asylum and the upcoming Arkham City. I even got him to say a line in the Joker's voice -- don't you kind of wish this was a video interview?

NBC Sets Premiere Dates for ?The Voice,? ?Smash?
NBC’s surprise late season hit “The Voice” will receive a post-Super Bowl XLVI second season premiere on Feb. 5, the network confirmed Monday morning.
NBC’s chairman of entertainment, Robert Greenblatt, also revealed that midseason drama “Smash,” starring “American Idol” finalist Katharine McPhee, is set to debut the following night, Feb. 6, at 10pm.
The announcements were made as part of NBC’s day of presentations at the Television Critics Association’s Summer Press Tour. The annual conference brings more than 200 reporters and editors to Los Angeles to talk to producers and network executives about the upcoming season’s programming.

Casey Anthony Prosecutor to Release Book
Jeff Ashton, the assistant state attorney who prosecuted but failed to convict accused child murderer Casey Anthony, is writing a book about the experience.
It remains to be seen if a book by Ashton, who retired just days after the Casey Anthony verdict, will be well received. Way to profit after letting the public down!
According to the Orlando Sentinel, publisher William Morrow will publish the book in late November. The title? Imperfect Justice: Prosecuting Casey Anthony.

From what we've heard, "How to Love" channeled Kanye's 808s and Heartbreak, while "John" featured a full rock-band presentation over Wayne's quote-unquote vocals.

Paul Greengrass In ?Fear Index,? Robert Zemeckis Out Of ?Replay? As He Takes ?Flight? With Denzel Washington
Back in June, Deadline revealed that Fox 2000 had acquired the Robert Harris thriller novel Fear Index, about a scientist who uses a revolutionary system of computer algorithms to trade on the volatility of the world?s financial markets. His hedge fund is wildly successful until he is targeted by an intruder who breaks into his home. At the time, I’d heard that Paul Greengrass was attached to direct, and his reps at CAA denied it. I wrote it anyway. Now, Harris has said in an interview for his soon to be published book that Greengrass is indeed going to direct and the filmmaker’s reps are now acknowledging it’s true. The novel will be published next month in the UK and January in the US. Chernin Entertainment’s Peter Chernin, Dylan Clark and Jenno Topping are the producers. and Harris is scripting it. Greengrass next directs the Somali pirate pic A Captain’s Duty with Tom Hanks starring for Sony Pictures. 
Robert Zemeckis has officially dropped out of the Warner Bros drama Replay, and the studio is trying to put the Jason Smilovic-scripted film back together with another filmmaker. Zemeckis exited because he has finally committed to direct Denzel Washington in the Paramount thriller Flight.

But In Touch has learned that one of the nannies regularly seen trailing the clan is, in fact, a therapist, tasked with helping 7-year-old Pax deal with his aggression. ?He?s become something of a bully,? a family insider reveals. ?He picks on [5-year-old] Shiloh, and even on his big brother, Maddox. He?s really having a tough time getting along with his siblings.?
It?s possible, of course, that some of Pax?s behavioral problems stem from his difficult early childhood. Unlike Zahara, 6, and Maddox, 10, who were adopted as infants, he was more 3 years old when he was adopted, and is still able to recall his hard-knock life in a Ho Chi Minh City orphanage in Vietnam. In the past, Angelina?s been open about the difficulty Pax once had adjusting to his new life. ?We?re slowly beginning to build his trust,? she said. ?It will take him a while to realize he has a family.?
But his chaos filled current lifestyle is likely also a factor. ?He?s having a difficult time with the constantschedule changes,? the insider says, ?and with the fact that people stare at him whenever he?s with his parents.? relationship expert Dr. Gilda Carle advises Angelina, 36, to focus on Pax and attempt to discover the source of his anger. ?It seems like it?s attention, and maybe answers, that he wants,? she says.

Jamie Lee Curtis Books 'NCIS' Gig
Jamie Lee Curtis has booked her first TV guest star gig since 1996 and will appear on two episodes of 'NCIS.'According to TV Guide, Curtis will play Charlotte Ryan, a single mom who works for the Office of the Inspector General in the Defense Department. Look for Curtis to spar with Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and his team.
"Jamie's shoot-from-the-hip style embodies everything we want from [Charlotte Ryan] -- humor, heart, strength and a lot of fun," Gary Glasberg, executive producer of 'NCIS,' said in a statement. "We couldn't be more excited she's here."
Glasberg said they're expecting real chemistry between Curtis' character and Gibbs.
Curtis' last credited guest role on an established series was in a 1996 episode of 'The Drew Carey Show.'

The second season of 'Top Chef: Just Desserts' (Wed., 10PM ET on Bravo) kicked off with a fairy tale theme, but it wasn't a happy ending for one contestant who would bear the unfortunate stigma of being the first person eliminated.!!SPOILER ALERT!!
The season opened up with a Quickfire Challenge pairing up the fourteen contestants. Each was tasked with creating a soda-fountain inspired dessert, where Amanda and Nelson came out on top. That said, it's so early in the competition, it's hard to know who to root for yet.

Noel Gallagher has called a truce with Liam. Sort of?
What?s this, a rare moment of clarity from one of the Gallagher brothers? We don?t believe it!
Shockingly, Noel Gallagher has put his hands up and has admitted his feud with brother Liam may?ve gone a bit too far.
It did take a lawsuit for him to realise that, but better late then never eh?
Talking to the press today Noel apologised for saying that Liam cancelled an Oasis gig because he was hungover. He backed-up his brother?s claims that he had in fact been ill with laryngitis but stressed that Liam was taking it ?too far? by launching legal action against him.
He said their fight had got ?silly?, ?out of control? and was ?not cool?.

Ellen DeGeneres and her wife, Portia de Rossi, love to cut the cheese! The couple are such strict vegans that any foods containing animal products are strictly off-limits.
In fact, Ellen and Portia, 38, are so serious about their special diet that when they ordered penne arrabiata at Madeo in West Hollywood on August 5, they skipped the parmesan. Instead, the couple came prepared with a faux version of the cheese made from soy. ?Ellen whipped out a shaker from her bag and Portia sprinkled it on their pasta,? dishes an eyewitness at the dinner. ?They seemed very concerned about making sure their meal was 100- percent vegan.?
Clearly embracing their healthy lifestyle, Ellen, 53, has at least admitted that nixing cheese was a challenge. ?It was hard,? she said. ?I loved cheese!?

Soleil Moon Frye was famous at age seven for playing the proverbial precocious kid on 'Punky Brewster.' Now 35, she's married with kids of her own, has her own clothing line at Target, and is also a parenting and social media guru. Her memoir, 'Happy Chaos,' covers her life from child star to mom. Frye spoke with Ann Curry Tuesday on 'Today' (weekdays, 7AM on NBC) and tried to give people, especially mothers, a bit of inspiration.The name of the book comes from Frye's attitude toward her household. "I don't know about you and your house, but it's insanity, you know what I mean?" she said. "Like, it's crazy at all hours, and I think we need to give ourselves a little freedom and cut ourselves a little slack and just do the best we can do."
