Red Hot Chili Peppers: Venice Rooftop Rockers

They've long been one of the most adored rock bands on the planet, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers were back in action with a music video shoot in Venice Beach, CA on Saturday (July 31).

The quartet of Anthony Kiedis, Flea, Josh Klinghoffer, and Chad Smith took to a local building's rooftop while performing their new single "The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie".

The band's bassist Flea announced the shoot via Twitter, telling fans to "come on by" and witness the 6:30PM filming session, adding, "Yeeeeeeeahhh rooftop rock."

Meanwhile, the Chili Peppers are lined up to drop their much-anticipated new album "I'm With You" on August 30, 2011.

Aside from Comic-Con, the 2011 Television Critics Association Press Tour, which runs from July 26 through August 8,� is the most concentrated TV news-generating event of the summer. 'ThunderCats' HOOOOOO!

Sorry, I just had to get that out of my system. It's been 20 years since the intrepid inhabitants of Thundera last roared across our screens (yes, the original series ended in 1989), and since then, 'ThunderCats' has lived on in the minds of nostalgic Gen X-ers and millennials through T-shirts and trips to YouTube, gone and mostly forgotten.

Our memories may be forgiving, but the well-intentioned series doesn't exactly hold up to repeat views (select episodes are available on KidsWB.com, if you're curious) and the campy costumes and earnest dialogue seemed long overdue for an update. Cartoon Network has taken up the task, turning to Studio 4°C, the animation house behind portions of the 'Batman: Gotham Knight' and 'Animatrix' movies to update the visuals. The tone is darker, the story more focused and relatable, and the dynamics between characters have shifted to reveal new conflicts that will drive the narrative. All in all, it's nothing to Snarf at.

?The messages have been just vile and it's hard because it's not true. There's not a scrap of truth in it.?

On Sunday it was widely reported that Amy was spotted stumbling out of a taxi with Aislyene the night before she died and she was supposedly in such a state she had to be helped inside, but Aisleyne insists this wasn?t the case:

?The papers are saying the last time I was with her we were drinking. In fact the last time I was with her was in her house, in her kitchen, we were drinking tea and having a girlie gossip as I would with any friend. Just talking about guys.?

David Wu Resigns as Congressman Amidst Sexual Assault Allegations

It's a bad week for Democrats. First, Barack Obama interrupts The Bachelorette during a crucial moment.

Now, three days after reports surfaced that David Wu engaged in an “unwanted sexual encounter” with a young California woman last November, the seven-term Congressman from Oregon has resigned.

“The time has come to hand on the privilege of high office. I cannot care for my family the way I wish while serving in Congress and fighting these very serious allegations,” Wu said in a statement. “The well-being of my children must come before anything else. With great sadness, I therefore intend to resign effective upon the resolution of the debt-ceiling crisis.”

The accuser has not been named, but sources say she is the daughter of one of Wu's high school friends and she left a message on the politician's office voicemail last year.

In October 2010, Wu sent a a photo of himself donning a tiger costume to his congressional staff, many of whom resigned because they believed their boss to be unstable and in need of psychiatric help. The video above, from 2007, does little to discredit that notion.

Mitch Winehouse reads a moving eulogy at Amy?s funeral?

Friends and family of Amy Winehouse have been paying their respects to the late singer at a crematorium in North London earlier today.

At the service - which was attended by her pals Kelly Osbourne, Dionne Bromfield and Mark Ronson ? Amy?s father Mitch is said to have read a moving eulogy to the Back To Black star, which ended with the words:

"Goodnight, my angel, sleep tight. Mummy and Daddy love you ever so much."

A family spokesman also said that Mitch: ?told some great stories from childhood about how headstrong she was".

"He stressed so many times she was happier now than she had ever been and he spoke about her boyfriend and paid tribute to a lot of people in her life."

A rendition of Carole King?s song So Far Away is said to have played at the end of the service as it was apparently one of Amy?s favourite songs.

'The Bachelorette': Top 5 Moments We'd Forgo

It's fantasy date week people! A time where ABC drops our resident 'Bachelorette' and her remaining suitors in the middle of paradise, provides endless amounts of alcohol and crosses their fingers that the executives won't pull the plug when things get extra saucy during primetime television.

And with the fantasy date comes the infamous forgo card granting Ashley and her beau the opportunity to stay as a couple in a super posh suite with radioactive glowing blue pool water.

The most surprising moment was when Greek Groban decided to forgo the forgo card date even before the forgo was presented. The other shocking moment was when House Speaker John Boehner and President Obama made their cases on how to solve the debt crisis in the middle of Greek Groban's date. OPA!

Other than those two dramatic instances, the episode was predictable and a touch boring. Therefore, I give you:

Big Brother Recap: In Need of Couples Therapy

Sunday night's Big Brother episode featured Rachel - shocker - bawling again after a perceived slight, as well as a shameless, ridiculous celebrity plug by the Hoff.

Meanwhile, the veteran alliance continued to crack, or at least we were led to believe so by Big Brother editors, and this week's nominees were unveiled.

Who ended up on the block after all of Rachel's waffling? THG breaks down Sunday's episode of the CBS guilty pleasure in its +/- recap below ...

Dom and Adam know they're in trouble once again. Plus 4, because at least it took them approximately 30 seconds to kiss up and try to deal.

Plus 2 for D's open acknowledgment that the Regulators were "the worst alliance of all-time Big Brother history." At least someone's honest.

Minus 5 for the snoring, though. Not a way to curry favor.

Lawon is, as deemed by Rachel, a "super floater" ... who wears orange Crocs and argyle socks. No idea how to even score that combo. Wash.

"Who wants to see my HoH roooooom?!" - Rachel. Again. Minus 6.

"Who's house? Rachel's house! Whew!" - Lawon. Plus 3.

We forget Daniele is even on the show, which bodes well for her. Plus 3.

In the luxury challenge, Jordan somehow deduces that three bars of soap plus opera glasses equals ... David Hasselhoff. Impressive. Plus 9.

Brendon notes that Rachel is the brains of Brenschel. If true, that's really sad, and someone needs to bring it up at his PhD defense. Minus 10.

Minus 8 for the shamelessness of the Same Name plug by CBS, but Plus 21 for Jordan giving Brenchel the proverbial shaft by inviting Shelly and Kalia to share the prize instead - in Rachel's very own HoH suite!

Rachel is PISSED about the snub by Jordan, along with Brendon giving Porsche a clue (which wasn't even helpful!) during the competition. Minus 24 for having to listen to this blabbering mess three times a week.

Minus 7 more for Brendon, who threatens to leave because he is risking his PhD, then schemes to nominate Jeff and Jordan, then makes baby talk to console Rachel in the span of two minutes. These two are insane.

Plus 2 for the cut-away shots of Jeff toasting champagne throughout this.

David Hasselhoff was a good sport, even if you could sort of tell that he either didn't want to be there or didn't know what to make of Big Brother. Plus 5.

The Hoff himself wears a Don't Hassel the Hoff t-shirt?! Unreal. Plus 8.

Does Lawon know how to speak normally? Do we want him to? Plus 6.

Adam and Dom are put back on the block. Minus only 3, because while it seemed like Brenchel could have made a bigger move here, a win by either of the nominees or the HoH tandem leaves the back-door potential open.

New Mom Ivanka Trump: "I Might Put Husband Through The Ringer"

Call Ivanka Trump The Maternity Apprentice! The 29-year-old, who debuted her 2-day-old daughter Arabella Rose in New York City today, told In Touch that she's "excited and petrified" about being a new mom ? and knows she'll be learning on the job.

'"I've definitely laid the groundwork: it's not the logistical challenges I'm concerned about, it's bringing home the baby and knowing what to do," Donald's daughter said in a interview conducted before the baby's birth. "But I think that I?ve learned from a lot of really smart people, aka people who have actually done this before, that you shouldn?t set too tight constraints around how you?ll respond or react and you have to just go with the flow. My father?s been tremendous, my mother has been an incredible role model to me and my brother and his wife are just great parents. I've learned from observation."

She said that her husband, New York Observer owner Jared Kushner, was a super-supporter during her pregnancy ? but she doesn't want him to get the false impression that the whole experience is a piece of cake.

"Jared's amazing, but I think I have to put him through the ringer, because he mentioned a few times that 'this hasn't been so difficult at all ? we could do this so many times!'" she laughed. "To which I say, okay, I?m going to have to start waking him up in the middle of the night and doing some ridiculous task because it?s maybe too easy on him."

Another challenge for the business mogul and jewelry designer is to balance her busy business schedule with being a new mother. "What?s changed for me is just the evaluation of priorities in terms of my free time, thinking about how I?m going to manage that effectively once I have a family," she says. ?Understanding my work schedule and travel schedule, I obviously don?t want to fail at being a great mother, nor do I want to give up what I?m so passionate about at work. So I just have to strike that chord. I already have meetings in my calendar for two weeks after my due date!"

Comic-Con 2011: Highlights from HBO's 'True Blood' Panel

Ballroom 20 was alive with the sound of squealing Friday night, as the unnaturally attractive 'True Blood' cast hit the stage at Comic-Con.

Alexander Skarsgård, Ryan Kwanten, Stephen Moyer, Nelsan Ellis, Kevin Alejandro, Kristin Bauer van Straten, Rutina Wesley, Deborah Ann Woll, Anna Paquin and Alan Ball (phew!) held court before a packed house, showing off some steamy scenes still to come this season in a searing sizzle reel (watch it and get more on that here), before tantalizing the audience with a few juicy spoilers in the hour-long panel.

Sam Trammell (whose wife is about to have twins) and Joe Manganiello (who is filming a movie in Atlanta) were sorely missed, but we'd still say that the hotness quotient of the panel was far above normal human levels.

Amy Winehouse's Tragic Death: More Details Emerge

As the shock of her passing continues to settle in, more details regarding Amy Winehouse's death have slowly but surely come to light.

According to TMZ, the 27-year-old singer showed "signs of life" upon the arrival of paramedics at her London home on Saturday afternoon (July 23).

Not going into any further detail, the TMZ insider continued to tell that Amy passed on before the medical personnel were able to transport her to a medical facility.

With an autopsy to take place either Sunday or Monday, crime scene sources are said to be working under the assumption that the tragic death is the result of an overdose - though police are following protocol in not jumping to conclusions based on Amy's troubled past.

Of the situation, London Police Superintendent Raj Kohli stated, "Next of kin have been informed, and I can confirm that officers are now satisfied that the deceased is Amy Winehouse."

Kohli added, "I am aware of reports suggesting this death is the result of a suspected drugs overdose, but I would like to re-emphasize that no post-mortem examination has yet taken place and it would be inappropriate to speculate on the cause of death."

EXCLUSIVE: After a feverish day-long bidding battle, I'm hearing that Universal Pictures is closing a 7-figure deal for an untitled comedy that will have Seth Rogen and Zac Efron attached to star. Rogen and Evan Goldberg will produce through their Point Grey Pictures banner. I'm told that this was an incredible deal that capitalized on the R-rated successes of the summer, and that beyond the 7-figures for writers Andrew Cohen and Brendan O'Brien, Rogen will be paid $8 million with a separate low seven-figure producing fee. Several studios bid on the pitch that will be written by Cohen and O'Brien, who, like Rogen and Goldberg, are Judd Apatow proteges. Cohen and O'Brien will be executive producers. Drumming up more speculation into the status of her love life, recent Scarlett Johansson/Justin Bartha sightings have ramped up rumors of a possible romance between the two actors.

Word of the possible hook-up began to spread after the 26-year-old - who recently split will Sean Penn - and the 33-year-old Ashley Olsen ex, were spotted hanging out backstage at Bartha's new off-Broadway show, "All New people" on Saturday (July 16).

Paris Hilton walked out of an interview with Dan Harris that aired Wednesday on 'Good Morning America' (weekdays, 7AM on ABC), amid questions about her fading star and the low ratings for her new show, 'The World According to Paris.'

Harris asked Hilton if she was worried about low ratings for the show. She replied, flatly, "no." Harris then asked if Hilton ever worries that her moment may have passed, which flustered the heiress. As Hilton looked off-camera to her publicist, Harris said, "You wanna wrap up?" and Hilton walked off. At the end of the hub-bub, we hear Hilton saying, "I don't want all of this being used." She apparently did not get her wish.

'Entourage' Cast Tells Matt Lauer They're Trying Hard to Make Movie Happen (VIDEO)

The filming for season eight is done, the premiere is set for Sunday, and all that's left is for the fans to watch the final season of HBO's 'Entourage.' Tuesday on 'Today' (weekdays, 7AM on NBC), Matt Lauer interviewed the stars of the show -- Kevin Connolly (Eric Murphy), Jeremy Piven (Ari Gold), Adrian Grenier (Vincent Chase), Kevin Dillon (Johnny Chase), and Jerry Ferrara (Turtle) -- about the final season, and whether that is, in fact, the end of the show.

Lauer asked if everyone was on board with the show ending. "No, we got cancelled," joked Connolly. "We were not on board with it at all." Dillon added, "We'd shoot tomorrow if you let us." About the rumors that there might be an 'Entourage' movie in the works, Connolly confirmed, "We're going to try really hard to make that happen."
