Looks like AMC has figured out a way to smooth the transition between two of its most popular dramas.
On Thursday, the basic cable network revealed that the 13-episode second season of “The Walking Dead” will kick off with a 90-minute premiere, followed by six episodes airing without interruption through October and November. The zombies will then rest for a few weeks before returning on February 12 for season two’s final six episodes, presumably leading in to the delayed fifth season of “Mad Men.”
