Milk + Bookies, a non-profit organization that inspires children to give back by using books as currency, along with Westfield Culver City, hosted a weekend-long story-time event with celebrity readers such as Busy Phillips (Cougar Town), Constance Zimmer (Entourage) and Elisabeth R�hm (Law & Order).

Channing Tatum?s lady love, Jenna Dewan, and fashionistas Selma Blair and Emmy Rossum were seen at the Beckley by Melissa Launch Party for the hot new fashion line last Wednesday night.

Kimberly Ovitz hosted a benefit for the ASPCA at the Ovitz residence in Beverly Hills on Wednesday night. Attendees included fellow animal lovers Moby, Vogue?s Meredith Melling Burke and Lauren Howell, and Bonnie Somerville, who wore a purple blouse for GLAAD?s Spirit Day to promote anti-bullying.

Scotty McCreery had a lot to celebrate this weekend. The American Idol winner released his debut album, which is expected to top the Billboard charts, and also had his 18th birthday. Saturday afternoon, he gathered with close friends and family in a private suite after singing the National Anthem at the North Carolina State University football game, where guests enjoyed a cookies and cream ice cream cake from Cold Stone Creamery. That same day, he also received a special birthday gift, a plaque commemorating his first gold record for his single "I Love You This Big."

DJ Whoo Kid celebrated his birthday with DJ Cassidy and friends at Greenhouse in NYC.

Wyclef Jean and DLH Green helped raise money for charity at the Hands For Haiti event in NYC.
