Amy Winehouse?s Dad: Writing a Memoir

It as been a few months since Amy Winehouse tragically passed away, and her father Mitch wants to share his treasured memories of her with the rest of the world.

Papa Winehouse will pen a memoir for HarperCollins titled ?Amy, My Daughter,? and it?s due to hit stores in the Summer of 2012.

And while the book will no doubt be a huge success financially, Mitch explained that he?s more interested in the therapeutic aspect of writing it.

?I feel that I need to write this book to tell the true story of Amy and to help with my personal recovery,? he shared in a statement to press.
